can someone please explain what contractions feel like. because for me to be 4 cm and not in pain and haven't even had bad Braxton hicks. what do I look for.

Tbh mine felt like horrible horrible stabbing twisting testing jabbing pains in my back mostly. Everyone is different though.

@mommynminnie, I would have back pain but they are bare able. like now that she did that membrane sweep I'm getting it now.

Mine weren't to bad till my water broke then I wanted to die😖 but now I have my princess and I would do it a million times over!

Mine started in my lower back (back pain) and then went around to my lower abdomen ( menstrual cramps) and then spread up to my stomach (extreme tightening), that was one contraction for me. I would feel all three at once.

The whole time I had contractions, it felt like I had very, very strong menstrual cramps.

It's okay I'm in the same boat. I have no idea when I contract. I am dilated to 2cm and my bag is hanging yet I never feel them and they were coming 2-3mins
