I just wrote about this, this morning. There are women praying their babies make it to 40 weeks, and other wo.en are trying to induce just because they're tired of being pregnant

I had twins at 36 wks and was induced with my 3rd at 38 weeks. I'm almost 39 and I am beyond ok with mine coming any time. there are plenty of healthy babies born before 40 weeks

@ceeasquared, exactly if you can't handle it don't get pregnant then.

@castersmomma, it's a difference when your baby decided to come out on their own then you trying to induce labor on your own early.

@castersmomma, There are plenty of babies that come NATURALLY before 40 weeks and are healthy, but there's no reason at 36 and 37 weeks to try to induce yourself naturally at home. When the second line showed up on the stick I knew it could be a 40+ week process I signed up for when I decided to go through with it.

I prayed and prayed that my son would stay in until 40 weeks because he was having problems with his lungs, weight, and kidneys. my water broke when I was 38+5 and he was born the next day. if he would've come any earlier, the doctor said he would've been a NICU stay

@ginnalynn, thank god he came later. Nicu stays our no fun

I know, it could've been bad! I'm also in the medical field and full term isn't until 39 weeks anyways. I'm fine if you're induced for a medical reason, but self-inducing isn't always safe otherwise your doctor would just induce you them self

I've just started blocking people because when I mention that 39 weeks is full term now they tell me that I'm wrong. Like darling, I'm in the medical field and work alongside OBs very often

yessss! amen amen amen! all these post about tired of being pregnant and wanting to induce before full term is getting ridiculous.

it's sad seeing how many ppl complain about having to hold the miracle they are given , many women can't have kids and would love to be pregnant.
