@mischell, 4 days? I would wait, personally. I didn't introduce a bottle until the 2nd month. • my son didn't stop taking my breast, but he's always been a little barracuda.

we never had any problems as far as nipple confusion and ya freeze it if you don't want to use for over 3 ish days. but once unfrozen use w in 24 hours

Dos you wait until he was so old to use nipples? She's 4 days old now. That's why I'm curious to as if I give her a bottle some nights to as if she will stop taking my breast. It's convenient to just breast feed in command. But some nights she gets so mad and hungry she too busy screaming to try an latch on so the bottles help.

@mischell, I use medela nipples. And I don't know about nipple confusion...ftm here. In my opinion I think that they just have to get adjusted. I did a nipple shield for a while, eventually transferring him to my naked nipples, & then bottle nipples and a pacifier (when he's sleeping only).

I'm pumping and breast feeding to keep my supply good. What nipples do you use to prevent confusion? Or does waiting until they're so old prevent the confusion? I had to use bottle last night an I bout never got her to take my boob this morning but she finally did. @gabbybritt

@mischell - yeah, we don't have any confusion. I did exclusively breastfeed for 2 months & then I realized how isolating it was/is. So, that's when I began pumping and breastfeeding. And if I'm off I still put him to the boob. Just pump at work to keep your supply. (I'm currently doing it as I type).

For your emergencies you just bottle feed it to the baby ? An not have any nipple confusion? I like the bonding with breast feeding. But when I put it in a bottle other people can feed her an it makes me sad lol. But I have to go to work in 5 weeks and I'll still want to breast feed when I get home. @gabbybritt

I'm kinda in between...I pump throughout the day (& did so before i went back to work) and at night or rather early morning I let him feed from the boob. I try to keep 20 oz in the fridge at all times. And I have a little some milk in the freezer for "emergencies". And that's kinda it. 😊

You just freeze it and use it later or what? I have to go to work soon so I'm gunna have to store it. I think the bags hold 6 oz. I've got 8. Maybe I can freeze after I get 6oz n start saving up lol. I'm just worried about nipple confusion once I got back to work. 😩 @livd15

i use to pump some in the morn cuz I was so full then otherwise let the baby eat then pump if ur still full
