Soo happy I have completed 6 months of Breast Feeding! 😍😍😍 Xx

How have you found it going for that long? I'm 8 weeks off doing it now I also give him a bottle once or twice a day just for my own sanity I want to try get to at least 6 months or stop when he gets teeth xx

@holliesinead Rewarding xD But I don't have a lot of free time haha! She is constantly on the boob! 😂 An hour at most is what I get :) She doesn't sleep in the day.....So its just a mixture of entertaining..feeding...changing etc....We just started weaning onto solids so shouldn't be as time consuming soon :) if she doesnt see or hear me though she can go longer... I think sometimes its more for comfort rather than wanting to eat :) she never cries though :) and I havent given her a dummy lol! She doesn't have teeth yet :) I would like to get to at least a year old :) or whenever she is ready to come off really :) my mum breast fed my sister until she was 4...my mum said she just said no firmly when she bit and then pulled away...and she soon understood what no meant....other women have also said something about squishing your boob against their face for a few seconds when they bite...not really keen on that idea...but only time will tell xx

Well done! My son was 5mths on Tuesday and we have been breastfeeding since birth. Want to get to a year+ depending on when he wants to stop really, I'm going to wean in another month too. Don't think I will ever want to stop. He does however wake twice in the night still! Xx

@ericadeex Awe well done hun :) Maya still wakes once or twice in the night too (has done from about 8 weeks) Are you doing baby led or puree? I'm doing a mix xD Xx

I think I'm gonna do a mix too :) start off with purée but give him bits of food in his hands eg toast or fruit while I feed him...decided to wait till 6months to wean though. Yeah Caleb wakes too glad he's not the only one! Some of my friends babies slept through from 6 weeks but they bottle fed xx

@ericadeex Yes I've noticed bottle fed tend to sleep through quite early :) I'm guessing it takes awhile :) But I'm not bothered xD She is happy and content xD Maya loves cucumber :) not so keen on toast though haha xx
