First time mommies who want to take pictures at 8 weeks and show their bumps... I read in my book just now that you're not "bloated" your uterus at 8 weeks stretches into the size of a cantaloupe and if you're really tiny, you do show a small bump and your baby is about 1 1/2 to 2 inches long. Don't let other girls get you down on your bump. My book says you're not bloated, your uterus expanded and no, it doesn't shrink back down, it stays that size for your baby to grow easily because they're not strong enough yet to stretch your uterus to move. So your uterus naturally grows (expands) big enough to hold your baby until your baby is big enough to do more work and stretch. If your bloated, it goes away... So you can tell other women, sorry not sorry, there is a big difference in bloated and an expanded uterus so here is my bump! :)
@mswedes, "The Baby Book" I would post a picture but like I've told @preggie_help_android several times, it won't let me post pictures.
I posted bump pictures at 10 weeks and I got a whole lot of "you sure you don't just have to poop?" 😂 like no there's a baby in there!
When I got pregnant I was 9 weeks when I miscarried. One of the reasons I even knew I was pregnant before I tested was because my clothes I normally wore weren't fitting me. I could tell my stomach had grown atleast a little before I miscarried. Why can't everyone let everyone else enjoy their lives? Why is there always so much hate and judging, it makes me sick.
@emilye, yes and according to my book, I looked at 12 weeks and you shouldn't be able to fit comfortably in your clothes because your stomach should be "well on its way of expanding" and I agree. of someone wants to post pictures, post them and other girls need to keep scrolling if they have something mean to say!
My thing too is even if some of it is bloat who cares? It's still your belly looking bigger related to pregnancy. I've seen a lot of posts bashing that lately and it makes me so sad. I never posted pictures THAT early but I got bashed on for posting a picture at 12 weeks. Like I know my own body, I'll know it changed.
@vb95, YES!!!! I don't know why women are so quick to tell you, that's not a bump you don't know a bump until 20 weeks. Whatever
Yes!!! Posted the exact same thing this morning. Let them enjoy their bump!
@izamarpink, I'm so close to deleting this app because all women do on here is bash each other and act like they all have fucking medical degrees.... Okay you had 5 kids, idgaf! You're still not a doctor so leave other girls alone. I took an ovulation test and everyone jumped my fucking as about me not being pregnant, when ovulation tests also pick up HCG levels and I did go to the doctor and got a blood test and I am pregnant. That was fucking bullshit. So I've decided everyday I'm going to post a helpful piece out of my book for first time mom's who actually want some advice and not looking to bully other women.
@mswedes, I just posted the picture on the main newsfeed. It's a great book. It goes by every week of your pregnancy and then steps and tips on raising the baby until he/she is 3 years old.
