Try not to let him drag you into a fight. Keep your emotions level. Tell him what you want to say, calmly, and leave it at that.

Maybe try each writing each other a letter about everything that's on your mind/bothering you? Idk I'm not good at advice

same here... we use to talk all the time while dating to the point of falling asleep texting cause neither of us wanted to say bye. now I'm lucky if we can have a good conversation without him yelling. I wait til were in bed to talk when kids are sleeping and its just us. but hes on his phone and doesn't listen. When i do he'll yell how tired he is and that he doesnt want to talk. other nights he says hes listening but i know hes sleeping. when i ask what i said he says 'you always do this'

I know same... It's like we just can't have a normal conversation anymore. I used to always just stay quiet if he was freaking out but I just can't seem to let myself. I don't know how we got here but it really really sucks. ☹️ @emmajeremy2627
