Just asking because I'm curious. I started having contractions last week and had to get a shot to stop them. The dr said my cervix is open a half a centimeter. She said take it easy and no sex of any kind. Could that be because my cervix is open

No, because of the contractions. Orgasms make your uterus contract and that could start contractions again. Happened with me when I was pregnant with my first.

yes you dont want to do anything that'll make u dilate more , at least more faster

Oh ok...this is new to me. With my son I didn't know I was having contractions until they hooked me up to the monitor. I'm about to be 33 weeks in Thursday and I don't want her to come yet. I've been having pains when I walk and stand for long periods of times
