Definitely get a stool softener! You don't want to get so backed up that you're uncomfortable!

take some stool softner if your taking pain meds that will back you up and its normal to go 5 days without a bm after delivery but call ur dr if u dont do anything soon they can help get you comfortable

Are you breast feeding? If not, there is a hot tea called "Smooth Move" that is phenomenal and will help you with zero pain!
