Does anyone have any experience successfully stopping the progress of varicose veins in their legs…

Does anyone have any experience successfully stopping the progress of varicose veins in their legs during pregnancy? I have one forming on the back of each leg and they literally came out of nowhere.. I'm terrified of them getting worse and getting more of them. My poor mom has them severely (from 3 pregnancies) and they cause her a lot of pain and itching. Any suggestions? I'm in my feet most of the day for work, but I can't do much about it. I work in a class full of 2 year olds by myself.
