Can you go through postpartum depression 6 months after the baby is born?
@santistevanmommie, I wish I could have a day to myself I know it would help so much but I'm a single mom with no money for a daycare and my parents work, so I have no one to watch her.
I just started having symptoms of PPD and I'm 2 months PP. it hit me like a fucking train. My doctor said it can happen up to a year after having your baby
It can seem that way but you just have to remember that it's something that can be helped. Maybe you just need a day to yourself. But if having time to yourself doesn't work it's best to get the help you need before it gets worse.
@babyjjsmommy, yeah me to I had to when she was first born but then I got better and now it's back, I don't wanna be like this
I feel the same a lot of the time! I don't know why and I hate feeling that way @sammy_riley2016
I'm just sad, I have energy to do anything, sometimes dealing with my daughter feels like a chore, don't get me wrong I love her to death and I'll always take care of her. But it's just how I feel. I need a break so bad
You can talk to them about alternative ways to deal with it instead of meds. They won't think you're weird either. Pp depression happens to more people than you think. If you feel like your dr won't be understanding of you and your wants switch Drs.
They'll like I'm weird and just put me on meds I'm already on meds for seizures i don't want more
Talk to your dr about it. They can help you figure out what needs to be done.
@emkasting, yeah that's how mine is out of nowhere I get it and I never expect it.
