It's a safety thing. She will get rid of it when she's ready. People need to leave you allow and allow you to parent.

same here my dad would hide that shit from her and I would get her a new one because it's all when they are ready to not need it they know when and she refused it on her own but it's the most annoying shit ever

People do the same thing to me and my daughters two weeks old! It's insane

I would throw a fit. There isn't anything wrong with a paci, and they're only unsafe if they're worn. Like, with cracks or tears in the nipple. (Who would give a baby that anyway?) I love my son's paci and I've taught people, through a few pinches and well-timed jabs, to let him be.

My daughter wouldn't get off her paci until after she turned 2. They need to worry about themselves than worry about the paci in her mouth

I would stick my finger in their mouth and fish hook their cheek... I'd say you don't like people putting their hands near your mouth don't put your hands near my child's

My son had his until he was 3. I would get so mad when people would say something. He is 8 now and perfectly fine. 😀
