looks like we'll be battling thrush the next few days/weeks. :( do any moms have any advice for me specifically (currently BF) - the doc didn't give me any specific instructions to prevent re-infection.

When my little boy had thrush, I made sure to clean my nipples with apple cider vinegar before and after every feeding. I coated my nipples with coconut oil and the inside of his mouth with coconut oil. I never got it from him. And his was gone in about a week. We never used anything from the doctor.

Keep giving the medicine to baby on a scheduled basis and be consistent or it will come back. Keep everything clean. Pacifiers and bottles.

I always used a warm cloth after ever feeding and tried to wipe his tounge when he would let me lol Dr ended up giving us a medicine tho.
