if I file for child support does my ex automatically get visitation to my daughter?
I'm sure it's different in every state. But in AZ, if the father is going to pay child support then he is allowed visitation and gets it rather easily. After court, they will probably send you to mediation where you two and a public official sit in a room and discuss times, pick up and drop off location, ect. If you guys can't agree then you have to go back to court and the judge decides on a schedule for you
You have to go to court and agree on a schedule, he can't just do whatever he wants
@mommy_faith, the people who do child support will? I don't mind him getting it but we can't agree on a schedule so I'd prefer getting a lawyer and going to court.
No but if he wants visitation then he will be more likely to get it. That's if he doesn't have a criminal record or anything against him of course
After you have a court date and what not yes he will have visitation rights but they will be scheduled mandated by the courts and what you have agreed upon
