So I have to get two teeth pulled on Monday and my OB had to type up a letter to give to my dentist saying it's okay to do this and that on me while pregnant and for pain it says that im allowed to take obviously Tylenol but it also says Vicodin, Darvocet& Percocet are okay as long as I have no allergies to them...I thought we couldn't take those I'm confused?

@momma2bee, And you may be far enough into your pregnancy that benefit outweighs the risk?

Percocet & Vicodin are acetaminophen based, where Darvocet is opioid based sometimes combined with acetaminophen. Class C for pregnancy (risk not ruled out). If I were you, I would opt for Percocet or Vicodin if Tylenol won't help. Vicodin is just a name for the generic (mix) hydrocodone.
