I wanna hear some birth stories

I was basically in early labor for a total of 2-3 weeks. Well anyway Thursday 6/23 I went in and had my membranes swept which was the last attempt to naturally get my labor to start. I was at a 3cm before the doctor checked me so Friday I went in to labor and delivery triage and I was a 4cm but not far enough to stay in the hospital got sent home. Saturday I went to an open house and was on my feet all day wasn't in pain just had a feeling something was gonna happen soon. Sunday morning I was sick as a dog. Back and forth to the bathroom from 7a-1p I knew something wasn't right. Contractions were about 5 min apart I felt like I had a lot of pressure in my butt. So I called my doctor and he told me to go straight to the hospital. I went and I was 5cm and my cervix had completely thinned out. Contractions were 2-3 min but I wasn't feeling anything except a lot of back pain (turns out all my contractions were in my back) so I got admitted. The process started at 11pm I got the epidural at 6cm and I felt absolutely good from 6cm-10cm that took about 7 hours to labor completely. So I was told I could start pushing well right when I needed to push the epidural wore off 😩 so basically I pushed completely natural and boy was it HELL!!!!! Exhausting painful and just overwhelming I said so many times I can't do it I can't. Somehow I managed to push that baby out at 11:40am on Monday and when I tell you I cried my heart out bc she was literally everything and so much more. As I look back the journey and process may not have been perfect health wise or physical wise but my life is complete and I love her sooooo much ❤️

My labor was PAINFUL idk if I can relive it 😂. But I received my blessing during all of it

I started bleeding at 6:30 am on a Thursday morning. so I went to l&d and had two different ultrasounds to see if I had a placenta abruption but they didn't see it so I kept bleeding and bleeding I was sent to be monitored for the night with the hopes that my contractions would stop and my baby would have another week because of her being small. my contractions were never consistent but the never stopped and my water broke at 4cm at 1 in the morning I then had an epidural because I was already out of it and dizzy from blood loss. I went from 4 cm to 7cm in a half an hour from 1:30 to 2:45 I went from 7cm-10cm (fastest hour of my life actually) then pushed for 45 minutes and finally after I threatened to ground my unborn daughter she came.

my water broke at 3:30 am the day of my baby shower, I didn't want to believe my water broke so I got up and said it was pee, a half hour later I said to my mom, who was setting up the display of 90 cupcakes for my baby shower, that my water broken she said we don't have time for this today you probably just speed yourself. so then I started getting contractions about ten minutes apart, we left for the hospital at 5:30 am when my contractions were five minutes apart, by the time we got to the hospital they were four minutes apart, they checked me and I was 3 cm dilated. they gave me an iv with one dose of pain meds at 7:30 and by 8:30 I was 10cm dilated. I delivered my son four weeks early at 8:55 am on the day of my baby shower lol

@hayesmommy ommmmmmgggggggggg awwww what a beautiful story . that is strength mama! !! it gives me some encouragementmm bc let me tell you I AM SO NERVOUS lol not necessarily about the labor but the pain . how many pounds did she weigh

Don't be nervous girl! What kept me focused was just staying calm. All you gne be thinking bout is getting your baby here safely and she was 6lbs 4.7oz 18in

Lol he rushed right out, there was no chance that we were making it to the shower. I was going to try to labor at home until my shower and at 5:30 I was like let's go now.. I spent so much money on the shower too, like six hundred dollars or more. ha I am just happy he's healthy too. thanks so much

@tlw1596 smh that is unfortunate but I mean hes here thats all that matters !! How is he doing now ? How many weeks did you have him at ?

he's doing much better, we were in the nicu about four days, but he's coming around quickly. I had him at 36 weeks and his lungs weren't ready and then he got jaundice
