Is it ok to return a carseat it's a gift from baby shower but it's the convertible one and I can't carry around like the one for infants. Someone said I could return and they would give me a store credit. What is a store credit lol sorry I don't know what it is and I don't have the receipt

Doesn't hurt to try. Just look up the model on store websites to see if they carry it and they'll give you back a gift card for the same amount

store credit is when you get the money for what the item cost but you can only use the money back in the store you exchanged the item. I think they usually give you a gift card with the money on that

I would keep it for when your baby is older and out of the infant carrier... and just buy the infant one on your own. your gonna want the convertible one in the future anyways

@heather11, yeah that's what our plan before but since we are short of money I can't buy the infant carseat right now and plus I have a toddler who has 2 convertible car seats where she can use when it is time 😁

yeah you can just return it if you know what store it was bought at and they'll give you store credit which is the same as a gift card. if you don't know what store it was bought at just take it to any store that carries the same car seat and just tell them you got it as a gift and dont need it they shouldn't give you any problems😊
