Having my 4d scan and looking across to see an empty chair next to me where your partner sits was absolutely horrible. Wish I could stop frickin crying but it seems impossible. Little lady kicking holy hell out of me at the same time lol

She must know you need comforting. I often find that baby kicks me more when I'm upset or stressing out as though they know to reassure me. You will be strong for her and make an amazing Mum x

It's my first too and I'm worried so can't imagine what you must be feeling. I'm just trying to do as much research and preparation as possible so I know what to expect. I honestly admire you for being able to do it on your own. Your little girl will be so proud of her Mum doing it all on her own. Sometimes Mums make the best Dads xx

You will be ok I did my first and looks like my last on my own. My second I was with an alcoholic who buggered off to wet the babies head before I got to the post natal ward and returned passed out drunk and abusive on my bed downstairs later. Needless to say the turning up pissed over the following weeks meant I did that one alone too. Sad thing is 16 years later he's still the same doesn't see my son and walked totally out his life at 2 yr old when we found out he had autism I was only 19 with two babies on my own. You'll be ok there's lots of support out there for young mums

It is no matter how many children or how old u are. I'm nearly 37 and I'm petrified of how I'm going to cope now. I'm bulk buying loads of things in for when I can't shop for us all so easy and later on I'll cook bulk meals and freeze. I was so poorly after my 3 Rd had emergency surgery 10 days after and was so poorly with pnd I was in hospital on and off for 2 months and really spent most of the first year unable to remember most things and crying all the time with no friends and family to help me. So this time I'm even more worried but trying not to let it ruin the last time I'll be doing this. Men suck they really do when ladies are pregnant! I see it all the time.
