So here is the lame birthday post. Delos is a blessing for sure. I have never seen a happier baby in my life and I am proud to be his mom. A year ago today he made me a mom. He was born at 33 weeks and 5 days which is 8 months. He was in the nicu for 7 and a half weeks due to breathing issues. That was a hard and rude awakening to parenthood. After he got out we had 2 doctors to see on a regular basis. All of our free time was spent in their offices. He has had a hard time gaining weight and we can't figure out why because he eats A LOT!!! He can now fit in 9 month clothes. He cannot wear newborn shoes yet. He has his mama's feet lol He has 4 teeth and is currently teething. He can self feed but refuses to hold his own bottle or sippy cup. He learned to crawl at 9 months (7/8 adjusted age). He learned to stand just last week. He loves bathtime, oball toys, and reading. He has earned a baby gate by successfully climbing the stairs. He loves to sleep which I'm thankful for! My favorite things about him are that he is a major flirt (just watch him at the store or something for like 5 minutes lol) and that he has such a killer smile. It can knock you dead. He has made my life so much better and I am so glad to call him mine. I'm lucky to have him and for him to have us. I also could not have asked for a better daddy for him. Delos adores his daddy so much. It warms my heart. So happy birthday little man. I hope you enjoyed your birthday with grandma and Tia.
