My doctor is going to call my insurance Monday so they will send me a breast pump. I'm really hoping that since I'm getting a new one that I will be able to pump a lot more. The pump my mom gave me barely works and it takes me at least 30 minutes to get it to work right. >_<. This this new pump I'll be getting doesn't work then I'm gonna talk to Tinley's doctor about putting her on formula. I started taking the fenugreek pills, been drinking tons of water, and will start eating oatmeal to try and get my milk supply up because I don't think Tinley is getting enough to fill her, and if I don't have enough to fill her, and enough to pump then formula is the best way to go.
I want to keep breastfeeding as long as I can though.

1oz. But half the time this breast pump I have now doesn't hardly work. @evelyn581512

Is she having at least 6 wet and/or dirty diapers a day? Babies like the comfort and contact. Baby on the breast as much as possible is what helps your supply and pumping isn't an indication of what you produce. Breast milk can digest as quick as 90mins I know some days it seems like my son is constantly nursing lol. Just trying to help, and don't feel bad if you have to switch to formula do what you think is best!

She's constantly on the boob and she always has a lot of wet diapers. I just feel like she isn't getting enough. && I want to be able to pump and freeze it so I can start looking for a job. That's the main reason I'm wanting to pump and to have it just in case something happens to where I have to be away from her. @yungbae

If she's having enough wet/dirty diapers and is gaining enough weight then she is getting enough! Babies go through a lot of growth spurts in their first few months of life so that could be what is going on. My baby was constantly at the breast for the first 2 1/2 to 3 months and now she's almost 4 months old and eats about every 3-4 hours. I almost thought something was wrong because she stopped eating so frequently haha. Also keep in mind if she's eating for a short amount of time, it will digest quicker and she will be hungry sooner whereas if she's eating longer, she will go longer between feedings.
