I agree on that. If they can tell you they're dirty, they can train. Very sad. I wish it was different. But all you can do is learn to do things a better way! I know a girl whose son is about to be 4 and he isn't potty trained either. He also throws tantrums and she gives in to everything. His meals are usually a hot dog, fruit snacks, or those puree pouches.

@liveitwithlove, all of her kids are like that too and it makes me so mad. her daughter couldn't even go to preschool because she wasn't fully potty trained

@liveitwithlove, my 2 and a half year old nephew is so smart and so capable of doing things on his own. his mom makes him point in order to know what he wants and They won't even take the time to introduce potty training yet. he knows when his diaper needs to be changed, he'll even walk up to you with a fresh diaper and wipes. in my opinion if your child can tell the ADULT he needs a new diaper than he is ready for potty training
