Been having constant cramps that feel like my period is gonna start. How do you distinguish from contractions?? My water broke
with my first pregnancy/ miscarriage but I didn't really experience this before the water breaking.

contractions feel like your being stabbed...they hurt so bad I threw up 4 times before my epidural lol

@lesleyraesmommy oh I vaguely remember reaching that point after we had been at the hospital but it came out of nowhere. and @nataliekm I've been timing it
and keeping record on my pregnancy app. if it gets any worse, I'm going in

@aye2016, yes that's what I did. I'm 34 wks 2 dilated 80% effacement -1 station and membranes are bulging

@atw2016, they gave me the steroid to help develop her lungs. Then they gave me a shot to help stop my contractions. I hated it. So now I'm relaxing trying not to do much so I don't have contractions as often. Went from 2-3mins to 10-15mins to delay her.

If the cramps keep happening closer and closer to each other, then you know they're contractions
