i got mine while i was pregnant my baby is fine

I told them I'd get it after he was born. There's never been a study done showing that it's safe to get it while you're pregnant

I didn't get sick or anything honestly it's the best thing for you and your baby protects them from so much! You could carry the pertussis (whooping cough) for other people in public and give that to your baby which is a horribke sickness that can kill them! It also covers diphtheria and tetanus and at babies 2 months appointment they can get their first dosage for it(: my parents and siblings all got the tdap! Rather be safe then sorry!

@treasie, I got this shot yesterday and it didn't do anything at all to me. My doctor said it's best to get it becasue babies get that whooping cough and can die from it. It's horrible! And plus he said by the time I deliver it'll be going around and etc... I got the shot and they kept me there for 5-10 minutes to make sure I didn't have a weird reaction to it. I felt perfectly fine the whole day and today.
