I find it slightly disturbing the negative aura some women put off about motherhood like never looking nice, never having a clean house, not owning nice things anymore or never ever ever ever getting sleep.

Why all the negativity? Yes, I understand kids are a lot to take care of and things change but I don't think you have to lower your living standards when you have children. Idk maybe that's just me.
