I thought I was just giving advice , this girl was on my page & has always put sad status & so on and whatever & was messageing me she was depressed so I suggested she get a concelour because she said she had no real friends to talk to , I thought it was good advice what did I say wrong :/// the time I try to be nice

I don't think there's anything wrong with suggesting a counselor to someone. Just ask her if you offended her.

I have a friend that says that stuff for attention after about 7 years of it, I got fed up. We still are friends, but when she starts talking like that I'll encourage her once, and then ignore it.
