I started the day Liam made 4 months and started cereal I. His bottle at 3 months all doctors orders.

Read about virgin gut or open gut.  It's better to wait as long as possible or look at the baby for cues until they can sit up on their own and stop forcing their tongue out so much.

It's not safe till 4-6 months but closer to 6

Almost 5 months, I only gave him sweet potatoes to start, mainly because that's all he liked lol.

I would wait til closer to 5 months. my daughter was like 5 1/2 months when I started rice cereal then I'd mix the veggies and/or fruit
