Yes!! @vb95 @angelfish her 6 year old daughter doesn't listen but they think she does no wrong. I hate to tell her 5+ times today to keep her feet off of his toys, her hands off of his teething toys and his pacifier, and to stop coughing and sneezing all over everything. She will look at me and give me a smart ass response

@carlitojrmami, it's my only source of income and it's a definite job for a while 😔 I just don't like when parents aren't respectful enough to keep their kids home when they are sick. Especially when she told me she has plenty of days she can take off

@10yearslater0205, it's okay. I know germs are everywhere so I don't try to hide my son from them, but don't deliberately drop your sick kid off and blame it on food poisoning and allergies

@jaxmomma, and it's good to expose your kids to germs we can't keep them in bubbles but when a parent blatenely brings her sick child over y'all get sick .. I guess if the child didn't have a fever then technically it's okay a cold is a cold .. But I thought u said yesterday she had a fever and diarreah ? That's not okay .. When I worked in child care if your child had diarreah they couldn't come back for 24 hours after it stopped ..

It sucks you have to go through that! :( I've been doing daycare for 10 years and I'm stopping in a month or so. My husband doesn't want me to stop but it's not worth the germs and the stress it'll be with a newborn. I'll do it again in 2 or 3 years. I would just give your client a printout of the state health guidelines and have her sign a copy stating she acknowledges it and will pick her child up or not bring them if they exhibit any of the symptoms. Let her know that no other daycare or childcare professional will take a sick child and so she shouldn't expect you to. She wouldn't like it if your child was sick and gave her child something so she should be respectful of you and your family. Not to mention if you get sick from her child then who will be around to keep her?
