I got baby fever! I want a little girl! Or 2 little boys! 😻😻😻😻😻 BUT I had cholestasis of pregnancy, and had to get induced. I'm afraid I might get it again and won't ever be able to have a natural labor. I was in the hospital 5 days. It took me 3 days to deliver my son. It was awful. He contracted E. coli exciting the birth canal and was in NICU right after birth. I'm assuming he was exposed to E. coli because several hands kept going in and out those 3 days and they broke my water on day 2. I had a epidural, so I had to get the catheter which tore my urethra in half. It took 5 months to heal pp. Also, the cholestasis was AWFUL. At the time I was under Medicare and they wouldn't listen to me. I went the hospital TWICE and was discharged because they said it was "normal" to itch. I didn't understand how itching all night and day was "normal." I'm talking about INTENSE itching. I was literally clawing off my skin and bleeding. I couldn't even sleep at night. I finally changed doctors and the new midwife tested me. The results came in doubled what they should've been, and she sent me to the hospital right away. I was 36weeks 3 days. I will be on my husbands insurance which is a private insurance, so if I do get pregnant I expect to be getting top notch care. My son is now 6 months. If I get pregnant soon they would be about 1yr and half apart.
