Desperate need of advice!
So here lately Kacey doesn't hardly eat. She will eat like 10 minutes and be done. I've tried a quiet room, she still stops. I'll try switching sides and she won't eat. I think because of it, my milk supply has dropped, I only get one let down. For like two and a half weeks she eats every hour because she isn't getting full. I even fed her sweet potatoes and she still acts hungry and eats again. I know at 5 months she needs more than what she is getting and it's so frustrating... I'm at my point of a breakdown mamas. Should I just switch too formula? Like I've tried bottles and she drinks it but still wants too nurse after... or just chews on the nipple. WHAT DO I DO 😩

@santistevanmommie, yes I have, I take fenugreek, brewers yeast, and mothers milk

The same exact thing happened to me so I give Lilly formula during the day and I breast feed at night. It broke my heart but feeding was getting stressful. This works so much better for us.

I started her on Enfamil supplementing and she did really well then I slowly transitioned her to Similac advanced

@Iillymom2016, did you try too stick it out before switching? Or does it sound like that's what I need too do..

I tried but she kept jerking her head off and I tried quit room and all that she only wants the boob at nap time or bed time. I say stick it out as long as you can it may just be her being nosey but in the end do what works best for you. And don't down yourself if you do switch or supplement as long as she's happy and fed that's all that matters.

@lillymom2016, of course not! I just more so hate it because I love breastfeeding... I don't know if it's a phase or what but it's exhausting and it's like I'm failing her

I was upset about it too. I loved the bond it created, but it was very exhausting and frustrating. I was scared it would make her not want me as much but she's still a mommy's girl and is stuck to my hip lol the only thing that changed was the way she was being fed.
