What do you do for constipated babies 😭☹

Constipation is also when there is no poop present at all.

I've talked to her actual doctor about it, I know what's up with my babe I'm not asking for a lesson on constipation I'm asking for things that you did with your baby if you ever experienced something similar. She is straining to poop and I can tell that she is uncomfortable and in pain and I am trying to figure out how to relieve her of this discomfort.

when I was breastfeeding but had to stop due to low supply because of health issues my doctor told me it was normal for her not to poop for up to 10 days but if she Is acting like she is in pain I would definitely try a tiny bit of prune juice or the thermometer trick. my doctor told me to give one ounce and do not dilute. I stated at 2 month with her. Dr said she would rather her have a ounce of juice than have to take meds

@junesmommy_15, Each poop is different really but there hasn't been one in 6 days... I breastfeed only but thank you so much I'm going to try some of those :) @maddiesmommy022916

my daughters doctor has me giving my daughter enfamil reguline all the time since I could no longer breastfeed but now that she started baby food she is pooping better so i only have to give it to hee 2 times a day. Also told me to give her one ounce of prune juice if she hasn't pooped in a few days. There have been a few times I've had to use a thermometer and do rectal stimulation. her doctor showed me how and she pooped right then and sometimes she poops soon after. I've only done it twice. you don't want to do it to much if you don't have to because then baby will rely on it. Also doing bicycle movements in warm bath has helped a lot with my daughter.

How old is she? When she does poop is it hard?

Hasn't popped since Saturday, literally not even a speck, fussier than I've ever seen her before while pushing very hard with stomach and legs sometimes being able to fart sometimes not even being able to get that out.... She's had problems pooping/with gas since she was born it's just very bad this week.

What are signs that make you think baby is constipated?
