Has anyone ever had a dream where they floated out of their bed, up to the ceiling, and looked down at themselves? And where they could actually control where they were floating to in the dream? I had one last week and I can't even shake it, I keep thinking about it. It scares the crap out of me because it felt SO incredibly real. At one point in the dream I saw myself floating on my back, about 2 inches above the floor, wearing a white nightgown, and I was at the doorway of my bedroom and the dining room. I watched myself float out of the room into the darkness and that was the end of the dream, and I woke up. Weirdest dream ever and I seriously just can't stop thinking about it.

Not to freak you out, but that's called astral projection and most likely you weren't completely unconscious. A lot of people do it in surgeries or in situations where they're put under. It's where your spirit leaves your body but you're still attached to a cord and you can see yourself like that. Idk how much of it is true, but I grew up hearing stories because my great-grandmother could supposedly do it on command. She would "fall asleep" with her eyes open and her spirit would leave her body lol.

Stop it with the evil stuff, y'all are scaring me! 😦 I really don't do well with evil/scary things. I didn't feel afraid that something evil was happening during the dream, just afraid because I was floating around.

Astral projection (or astral travel) is a term used in esotericism to describe a willful out-of-body experience (OBE), a supposed form of telepathy, that assumes the existence of a soul or consciousness called an "astral body" that is separate from the physical body and capable of travelling outside of it.

I only say insidious because that's what the boy and dad could do in the movie, not the scary stuff! Sorry didn't mean to scare you, I actually believe a lot of people can do it, I don't think it's evil!
