They keep tryna push me to get an epidural and I don't fkn want one..... They're starting to piss me…

I have scoliosis, so I tried explaining to them that the epidural I got during my last labor didn't work because the epidural catheter don't fit correctly in the epidural space around the spine... they tried 4 times during my last labor and the only thing that was actually numb was my right thigh... I'm not gonna put myself through that again!

I'm getting induced tomorrow an I've already warned them I didn't want it because I have scoliosis too. They try to talk you into it but I have a mind set. Good luck!

@desi720, exactly! I have scoliosis and degenerative disc disease! they said epidurals are the most effective way to manage pain... blah blah blah...... liiiiikkkeeeeeee, please don't fkn stand here and make me feel like I can't do it... it's bullshit!

makes sense actually @patientlyawaitingdalton . my midwife is actually pretty pumped im doing a waterbirth and theyre unmedicated .

I definitely did it without any drugs or epidural. I had a shot of morphine in my butt, but it didn't do anything except take the edge off for about 20 minutes.

I didn't have anything either! so glad you pushed through it!
