if it's attached in the front, it's anterior placenta, it will stay there

I have an anterior too, it's implanted there, and will be until delivery.

@chinue, yes I know it'll still be there. I just didn't think it would still cause her kicks to be "muffled" at 28 weeks. Cause I believe it was at my 20 week scan they told me where my placenta was.

@snozzberries, yeah the "cushion" doesn't change. now that she's head down I feel then strongly on the right side

I had just figured since I was further along now that her kicks would be much more apparent, they only were for a short while a few weeks ago when my belly was a little smaller. @snozzberries, once she turns and starts kicking in your ribs you should be able to feel them more but right now she is probably still kicking into her placenta.

mine is in the front and honestly I'm glad bc her kicks hurt and I can only imagine what it would be like if it was in the back. I'm pretty sure she's already head down though bc I get really strong kicks from the top. my midwife told me that it moves up as they get bigger. I'm also fat too so maybe I just have a hulk baby bc she hurts like crazy

mine is too, im 26 weeks and asked my dr when id feel them being really strong, she said at around 30 weeks because baby will be big enough that the placenta wont cushion or block all of her anymore.
