So I called my doctors office to describe this weird discharge.. (clear and watery with white cottage cheese stuff) thinking it's a yeast infection.. and the nurse seemed a little concerned and told me it could be or it could be the white cheesy looking stuff that's on babies at birth.. suggested that I go in.. so I make my way in and the evaluate me and checked me no new news.. they UA'd me for a yeast infection and UTI bc i guess there was blood in my pee.. both negative.. they tell me I'm fine and send me home... okay... what the hell is this cheesy shit!? part of my mucus plug? why is there blood in my pee!? I'm so confused!!!!

You could still actually have a yeast infection, just that there's not enough bacteria to show up on test. Have your OB culture you & send it in.

@hart.momma, I've had the cheesy stuff for like a week now.. but it hasn't got worse in the whole week... they sent it to the lab and everything

@kasieerin, I know some discharge is normal as you get closer to due date, I had "clumpy" discharge at 32 weeks & I was told it was fine.

@kasieerin, if you still have it at next OB visit just bring it up again. If it is your mucus plug, it can grow back.
