My little sister is 7 and my mom got her an iPhone today. >_<. I think ifs ridiculous.

Oh no, my daughter will get a kid phone that she can only call 3 preset numbers and 911 if she wants a phone young after that once she gets her licence for emergency. I know that's going to be hard to do but I'm going to try

My kid will get a basic phone when he gets to middle school. They don't need them now. I'm never far away from them. When I was in middle school my grandmother always gave me enough to make a call at the phone booth and to catch the bus, since technology has advanced there aren't any around here.

the only reason my siblings had a phone so early was because our parents got divorced. there's no other reason and it definitely doesn't need to be an iphone. my sister just got an iPhone at 12 years old but it's a hand me down
