I need help. So my daughter has had a diaper rash and literally nothing will make it go away! We've tried butt paste, A&D, desitin (the blue and purple kind), coconut oil, and regular baby powder (non talc) and it's still there! At her one year appointment, her pediatrician prescribed nystatin. Well we used it all and it's still there..
her insurance expired 2 days ago and are waiting on her renewal now. What do I do ughhh any one babies had a stubborn diaper rash?

I use and only use aquaphor. it works wonders but if its still there and nothing seems to be working try changing the brand of diaper.

Awww poor little one 😩 I hope it goes away soon I can only imagine the frustration 😭 I would say try changing the diapers as well. Your baby may have developed some sensitivity to the diapers

Right? Like all these creams that are supposed to help with it, haven't helped :( someone told me to start changing her every 1-2 hours like a newborn and during the night too. 😿 think it was the pampers cruisers, cause we have been using swaddlers and I wanted to try the cruisers so now I have a box full I can't use :/ @hayesmommy

That's probably what caused it then, yeah definitely change back to what you were using. & try aquaphor & let her go without a diaper for a little while so she can get some air. @mommytolucia

aquaphor and let her air out! have her lay or sit on a towel and hangout for a while, also wipes can irritate the rash too. if she poops, rinse her off in the tub. i have a friend going through the same thing and we've been trying different things out

so I've been changing her as if she was a newborn, every 2 hours or even if she's full before the 2 hours. putting desitin at every diaper change, and letting her air dry. it's looking soooo much better, I'm super relieved 😩
