ladies that breastfeed...... when did you start leaking milk? I'm 36 + 5 and haven't had any milk…

I planned on breastfeeding or at least doing the first feed but my milk didn't come in until 2 days after my baby was born, I never leaked during pregnancy either think it's diff for everyone x

I leaked ever so slightly towards the end, the first couple of days it was colostrum and now milk is here :) I think your body just knows once baby is here xx

@baby_oneill, Like @briony1994 said its colostrum for the first day or two while your milk comes in but baby needs that anyway so it doesn't really matter when your milk comes in as you can still breastfeed straight away xx

your colostrum will come in as soon as baby is born, once baby has drank that then it'll turn into milk, your body will know when to produce it 😊x

I started leaking around 30 weeks with my first and around 25 this time but I didn't breastfeed so not sure if it makes a difference at all xx

I leaked once I think lol :) But as soon as baby is born and starts sucking :) The colostrum will come out and then within 3-6 days your milk will come in :) Mine came in day 3 xD xx

My son is now 2 and a half. I breastfed until he was 7 months and never leaked at all. My milk didn't come until day 6 and he was happy with colostrum. Don't worry, everyone is different. As long as you and baby are happy, all will be fine. x
