@imhermomduh, finger foods she can feed herself but with the spoon she doesn't even try she just shakes it around. I have a friend who had her baby after her and she does way more things than my daughter. I went to the places that do tests on her to see if she's far behind and they didn't accept her for therapies because they said she's fine but to me she's behind a little.

My daughter is 20 months. Sometimes she'll use a fork or something but mostly she just likes to hold it/swing it around. I'm having the same problem, I think lo is behind some but the best this injustice to be consistent. When she holds the utensil I move it around for her to show her what she needs to do to use it. It may help you unless you've already tried it.

No problem! LO might be a hands on learner and needs to feel the motion, not just see it. Good luck!

My daughter is premature too and is 20 months and just started feeding herself with a spoon and she's not good at it. Give your daughter time.

All children preemie or not will do things at their own pace don't feel discouraged
