when induced how long can it take upto? and once baby born do u have to stay in or do you get let…

Can take up to 4 days to work, and depends on how your delivery goes on when you get discharged from the hospital @tg123456789 xx

got induced with my boys i had them 48hours later andhave to stay in extra 72hours becos they had iv anti biotics xx

if i was having home birth could they do it at home? @jod1303 @lollypops xx

i dont think they do inducement at home because of complications but i have no blinkin idea cx

Hi Hun no inductions are never carried out at home. As they carry more risks. U can go in and have propess come home till u need it out or the drip in hospital. Part of induction is monitoring u for at least half hour after the drugs and if u don't contract properly the drip has to be given in hospital

And I stayed in 5-7 days after my inductions due to complications with them and heavy bleeding

I was induced and it only took 12 hours @tg123456789 and I had to stay in for two nights (admittedly the first night was just because I gave birth at 9pm) xx

I was induced 2pm on Thursday and had summer at 3:51pm Friday, I went home once the propess was inserted and they were happy after monitoring and went back in when I needed to, didn't come home till Sunday tho due to complications and blood loss xxx

I went in at 7am had 2 lots of gels and pains started then had the drip to help with contractions then waters got broke then baby came 11.38 next day, i just labour slowly but if im honest i expected it to be much longer, i was 15 days overdue, and had a 10lb 9 baby boy just on gas and air, i was deffo braver 2nd time round than the first time haha xx

My sis was induced at 10am and had him at 12.15 that night xx
