how many moms went on BC right after having baby ?

i did i hated it, i was on the shot ...this month it finally wore off. yay

My doctor is still trying to get me to get on bc so I can finish school since I start med school next year but my son will be three and I want another one they don't stop me they just motivate me to go harder

Yessssss exactly plus my two year old has told everyone we are having a baby I'm like boy we have two more weeks to know anything yet if not waiting until October that way when I give birth it will be a month before school starts for me again

if I don't decide to get permanent bc I will be getting the iud asap. I love my children but I don't want anymore for a few years.

I will be getting on birth control at my 6 week follow up appointment. I just had my first and I don't plan on having any more for a few more years. That's if I do decide to have another biological one. My husband would like to adopt.

@septembermama2016, An intrauterine device (IUD or coil) is a small contraceptive device, often 'T'-shaped, often containing either copper or levonorgestrel, which is inserted into the uterus. They are one form of long-acting reversible contraception which are the most effective types of reversible birth control. I had to look up the definition so that it could be explained better than a plastic thinggy that goes in your uterus. lol

The copper ones last up to 10 years but I'm gonna go with the other ones that last anywhere from 3 to 5 years, I don't like the idea of having copper in me at all times... 😬
