I hadn't been with the company long enough for them to pay my leave so I had to go through the government so I get £558 a month which I know is better than nothing but it's hard to go from double that if not more a month to that and a little human to look after @emmaclark when are you due to go back to work? Xxx
I hear ya! @zoemarie My wages will be down to half of what I was earning next month. Just over half of that will be going to my 1st sons nursery fees so I will have very little to play around with 😏 Who knows maybe I'll be begging to get back to work! Haha

I had thought about going back to work a little bit earlier but I don't want to leave Oscar any sooner then I have too, I'm lucky when it comes to childcare my mums going to have him while I go back to work I'm only going to go back 3 days a week but that already gives us £400 more then my maternity pay gives us! @sara-lou xxx
I know!! still find it hard to make ends meet tho😓 I've been with mine for 2 years so I got the average of what I worked up until my 25th week of pregnancy. I'm only contracted to 16hrs but most weeks I did 40! oh yeah of course, it's difficult to budget money after a baby as it is without the change in earning! I'm due back on the 4th of October but now since working out what I'll earn I'm gonna need to contact tax credits to find out how much childcare they'll help me with to be sure it's worth it😩xxx
It's hard being a bloody grown up 😫 aww so not too long now then, I know it's stupid the price of childcare it takes up most people's whole wage which makes it pointless to work at all! They make it far too easy for the people that don't try and far too hard for the people that do @emmaclark xxx
I took 15months off with my 1st. I only went back to work because I work at a nursery & he could go with me. I went back 3days then got a promotion & went up to 4days. I have family but none close by to help. But working also gave us extra money to play around with & my son needed more he's so sociable & active. I only get the government maternity so yeh definitely notice the dip in pay! I don't know if I'll go back this time it'll all come down to financials! @zoemarie
I know!! they say you don't need money to have a happy life but it bloody helps😩😂 exactly, so true! it's crap cos I really want to go back but my wage barely covers rent and other bills already so if I'm not getting help with childcare then I don't know how it'll work😖 xxx
Yeah they say money can't buy you happiness ... But I promise it could for me if they just give me some I'll show them 😂😂😂 it's hard trying to work everything out and trying to make it work for everyone! @sara-lou @emmaclark xxx
