I don't think my bf realizes how much money you put into an event when you invite too many people. he knows this baby shower is coming out of our pocket only. he was the one to ask if we were even having one and to keep it small. so why get upset when I tell him I don't want to invite people that have so many kids and with husbands I don't even know. I only want our close friends and family and that's it. I don't care if people feel bad that I don't invite them. I want to enjoy that day, period...

we got into a big argument over it.. and it only came up bc we went to drop off an invite at his moms house bc she got butt hurt that she didn't get one and his sister did. like hello you already know about it. my mom didn't get one lol and then she started saying oh you need to invite blah blah blah and I had to stop her and say were not getting help from anyone so we want to keep it small and he sides with her and says oh but I think we should-___- @jayare

lmao!! girl I feel ya! but I agree with inviting people who are actually close to you. cause trust me things add up. I wanted the same something small till he told me invited a bunch of people I haven't met lol

mine was suppose to be small and I had over a hundred people show up and we ran out tables and chairs lol thankfully we were prepared on the food part

@jayare, I didn't enjoy my sons baby shower. too many people I was all over the place. so with this one I wanted it to be more intimate more simple so I can sit down and talk to my friends and actually eat lol

@daylenerebecca, that's exactly how it was at my sons baby shower. too many people. I wasn't planning on having this time around bc of that. but he brought it up and HE said just a few close family and friends and I was all up for it. but I'm the one planning everything he doesn't know how much comes with it...
