Our current land lord wants to take us to court because we are moving out because she can't provide legal rent agreement as out landlord. We moved into a rental with a slumlord as our landlord... make sure you cover all your bases before renting guys.. don't get fucked like we did!!

I'm pretty sure there's nothing she can do if you guys don't have a rental agreement or a lease.. something has to be in writing.. @mhaley1223
That's what I don't get. And she was saying she wants to make it easy for everyone and was the first one to jump to going to court when we said we didn't want new tenants inside while we are still living here.@showersoverflowers,
If she takes you to court, she will be spending more than she's making out of it. She's better off just finding a replacement.
