What are the chances of my son surviving if he was born between right now and the next week or so

Every week the chances get higher.

i read it would be between 70 and 80 or 90 percent of survival.

about 70, I have a cousin that couldn't carry hers past 28 weeks. Hers are healthy but she will be the first to tell you she was a very lucky and that wasn't the case for a lot of mom's with her in the NICU. There is a chance but the outcome is unknown

There is actually a pretty high chance that he would survive (with a lot of medical intervention) because babies are viable at 24 weeks.
