Just don't wait too long, it'll usually be worse the longer you take to tell him. Good luck and congrats!

I would tell him after my ultrasound that's only me. usually when a parent sees a picture of the little peanut growing they have a different insight on the baby and how they feel. but like @santanaanna says don't wait to long bc that could cause problems @hoping24

Thanks @teniera @santanaanna and @mommy2isabellafae I wanted to tell him in some way with an ultrasound. I didn't want to wait to long because I feel he'd be mad if I did that I'm just torn how and when to show him the ultrasound when I do get my first one which will be like next week I think.

hey girl I would tell them in a happy way... like don't make them mad or scared at what they're about to hear. im telling my parents with a my baby's heartbeat bear. look into it.

Yeah me too I just want to blurt it out but I'm so scared of the reaction. I was going to text it to him but Ik that'd be an awful way to tell him and couldn't convince myself to send it. I just need a plan and a steady way to tell him but it's so complicated. Me and my boyfriend have a few people to tell and out of all of them he's what I'm most worried about. Like I feel like I know what his reactions going to be I feel like he's going to be more sad but he's gonna be a little mad too. @mylittlemonkey13

Yeah At first I wanted to wait until I was at least in my second trimester but I need to do it before it gets that far. I just don't want him to flip out or anything. We can defiantly help each other@mylittlemonkey13

Yes we can! My first thought is to wait till2nd trimester to reduce the risk of miscarriage, now Im here and nothing lol @hoping24

That was my first thought too lol!!! But then me and my boyfriend talked and he thinks it'll be better to tell him sooner rather than later and I just agreed with him because he was right because I'm still living at his house until I turn 18 in 4 months and going to doctors appointments are going to be complicated if don't tell him.... @mylittlemonkey13

@hoping24, if you need us we are hear for support just in case he doesn't handle it to well but stay focused on the positive I'm 20 and my fiance is 22 and when we told his mom she was pissed and we are both grown lol and I had no one to talk about it with so I'm hear and so are some of these beautiful pregnant mama's

I was really nervous when I told my dad just because I though he would be disappointed in me but trust me they will get over it and they will be over the moon especially if it's their first grandchild. I think something like this would be cute with a picture of your ultrasound, just remind him that he's a great dad and will be a great grandpa too, I kept having to remind my dad that he raised me well and there's nothing to be upset about we're not the first and definitely won't be the last to become young mothers
