so with going to a military obgyn you can get a different midwife all the time ( not sure if this is different for other people this is my first baby and pregnancy) I've been lucky and I've only had 2 different ones. I love the first one I had and these last two appointments I had a different girl at first I liked her, but this last appointment I absolutely do not like her. she was very rude and in a hurry to get me out and my first midwife would tell me the heart beat and also what the baby was measuring this last one didn't do that ether times. I asked her at the last one what he was measuring and she totally ignored my question 3 times. and would ask other questions like if I was signed up for the classes ( I don't want to take them for personal reasons) when I told her no she pretty much told me atleast I took it this way that i don't know what I'm doing and I need the classes or something bad will happen to the baby. I know she probably didn't mean it in a your gonna be a bad mom type of way and I probably let my hormones get the best of me but my question is I have her again for my next appointment should I call the office and try to get another midwife or just deal with it and see if she gets better this next time? I don't know if she was maybe having a bad day for something.

when I told my doctor I wasn't taking through classes they never said anything negative to me. honestly your body is made to have a baby. you will be just fine ☺ I think if I were you id ask for a different midwife. she doesn't sound very nice

@jessicarose0602, she was nice the first time the only complaint I had was her not telling me the measurements but I didn't ask ether. I'm probably going to ask for a different one hopefully I can I don't see why I couldn't

Yeah but she is the doctor... to ignore your questions like that is straight up rude. I had a lot of different doctors and they always did my measurements and let me listen to the heartbeat every time. I think thats an important part of those appointments

I had pretty much the same experience until today. I'm going to an office where they have me see as many different midwives as possible so I'll most likely know who's on call when I deliver, but I've seen one of the midwives for the majority of my appointments and I just did not really like her. She would tell me at every appointment she was going to put me on blood pressure medication which I did not think was necessary but she wouldn't hear otherwise. I had her today though and she was completely fine and actually nice lol. I almost told them so many times not to schedule me with her again though so I don't blame you if you do that! They should be making you feel better, not worse

you should ask for the doctor you feel comfortable with
