Why Are Standards for Being a Good Dad Lower Than for Being a Good Mom?
Why is it that it takes so little for everyone to say/think the man is a good dad but takes so much for people to think you're a good mom. It's unfair and very annoying. Just cause he feeds her with a bottle or holds her while i shower doesn't make him a good dad! I do that crap everyday all day! Oh and HE deserves a vacation....while I stay home. The unfairness is real...

This is so true.. Dads get recognition just by changing a diaper or doing something simple that us mommas do 24/7

I couldn't agree with you more!! my guess would be that dads get so much recognition for the littlest things because it's not expected for them to do anything at all.. it's only "expected" for the women to take care of the children and the home and their husband's and also work on top of everything else!! and if we as women don't do all of this or if we complain or ask for help from any one including the father than we are absolutely the worst mothers ever in the history of mankind!! society is absolutely ridiculous and it's absolute bullshit!! *excuse the language*

Oh girl I get it! He says "I don't get why your so stressed, you get to nap and hang with a baby all day. Every other mom does it with more than one, why can't you??!" I wish I could make his ass take care of her for more than 15 minutes but I don't think he would know what to do! And my babes safety and happiness is my main priority. So I have to suck it up and take the bull shit . I don't get why they don't get criticized (other than by us) how unfair. God forbid a mother has a screaming baby in the store...if a father had a crying baby everyone would feel bad cause "he doesn't know what he's doing" but we are looked at like we just slapped our babies in the face or something! It drives me nuts!!
