My son is starting k3 Thursday. He is going 3 days a week and then for k4 he will go 5 days. Teachers and friends have told me it's better start them in something before they start real school. Kindergarten these days would be what they consider 1st grade when I was in school. Most areas have headstart programs and early learning centers
u can also call ur local school board they may have what is called an early learning center. The problem with this is that most of these r geared towards children who have some kind of delay or social disability. They do all kinds of general testing on the children and then put it all together to c if the child qualifies. Most of them also have what is called a typical child program where children who don't qualify to attend at 3 r able to go into the school at the age of 4. I can't verify how urs might work but if u call the school board they should b able to lead u in the right direction. Head start is another option if u would rather not try to go through all the red tape and they take any child at 3. The nice part is no school can deny a child entrance because they r behind with either of these programs

look up headstart and put in your zip code and they should give you some numbers to call
