So I babysit a 5 year old little girl. Yesterday she was coughing, throwing up, and sweating. Her mom said she was fine. She dropped her off this morning and said she's fine... She's thrown up 6 times today and her mom still hasn't come to pick her up so I have her for another 5 hours. She Bette robot get my baby sick 😡

When I worked daycare I hated those kinds of parents .. Poor babies want to be with their mommies when they are sick not to mention spreading it to every last baby and care provider .. I'd keep calling her until she shows up

She can't stay if she has a fever or vomits within 24 hours because she's contagious. I've had parent do that and send their kids swearing their better, then taking forever to pick them up because they were "stuck at work". I'd tell them flat out that their kids aren't allowed back for at least 24 hours without symptoms and if they send their kids back knowing they are sick they are responsible for caring for any child their child gets sick because it's not fair that other parents have to miss work due to negligent parents knowingly bringing sick kids. SMH if my kids are ever sick they are with me and kept away from other kids because it's bad enough one child is sick there's no sense in getting others sick. That's just being respectful, more parents should be that way.
