Mamas with rear facing babies! Does your lo sit in the middle or off to one of the sides? (In the backseat).
Yeah, I feel like my daughter's does rock a little.. Maybe I should try it behind the passenger. I use one of the forever car seats, that grows with baby, so I wonder if it'll fit well.. @mimiz
Don't do middle because I feel it will rock or easily flip I mean idk everyone does the placement differently whatever flows your boat
@showersoverflowers, oh.. That makes sense! I'm certain my daughter's seat is safely in the middle. I'll have to check with someone. Thank you !
If it is possible the middle is the safest but you have to be able to safely fit and secure the carseat in the middle for it to be beneficial. Otherwise the left side is second best. Stop by your local fire or police department for a check after you've installed it. Also, there are loads of free classes on child seat safety I recommend every new parent take
I always thought the middle was the safest! I'm going to ask her pediatrician today, so I'll let you know! @teambarnes
Really? I've seriously never heard that! Let me know what you find out though because I'm having another one and I'd like to be more informed this time around haha.
That's how I am, too! Hahah, but people keep telling me she's not suppose to be in the middle? So, I was confused. @teambarnes
middle in the back seat keeps baby safe from side impact car accidents and keeping the handle up on the carseat acts as a roll cage if you do flip
