8 weeks after you need to heal and your uterus takes up to 6-8 weeks to get back to place

it's all in how you feel (from what my Dr said) since they didn't do anything in the vaginal area there obviously weren't any stitches.... however that being said, I would wait until at least after your 1 week appointment when they check the incision to see how it's healing, and remove any staples (if you had them).... and always remember you are super fertile after having a baby, even c-section, so use protection
